Can I buy animal merchandise/products on the day?

Yes! We will have a large range of animal merchandise, food, flea and tick treatments, collars, carries etc so that you can spoil and pamper your newly adopted pooch or feline friend!

Why are you running this Pop Up Adoption event?

The RSPCA Animal Care Centres across Queensland are getting close to capacity and as such, we need to find homes for as many animals as possible so that we can still continue our work in the community. That is where the Pop Up Adoption comes in! We decided that the best way to find all the animals the best homes, we would take them to a central city location and run a big adoption day in the hope that many animals find their very special forever home. Our normal adoption processes still apply however there will be special prices for some animals and there will also be animals from all across the state available on the day.

Is there parking available?

There is parking available under the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (which can be accessed via Merivale Street or Grey Street). Please refer to the BCEC website for price details. Otherwise, we suggest parking in the surrounding streets. We do not suggest using public transport to get to the event if you plan on adopting on the day as you are unable to take animals back home on public transport.

What happens if it rains?

The event will go ahead rain, hail or shine!
